What we back
KBL Capital is the investment program of Keynus Blueprint Launch. We deploy capital from limited partners and Keynus into software, AI, and technology-based companies and projects.
Focus areas include SaaS, automation, robotics software stacks, and founder-led ventures that fit Rwanda, East Africa, and selected global AI opportunities.
- Minority equity and standard startup instruments (SAFE, convertible notes)
- Follow-on in existing portfolio companies
- Co-investment alongside angels and strategic partners
Structure
Program vs community
KBL membership, bootcamp, and event fees are community products. They are not investments in the fund.
Fund participation requires separate eligibility review, legal agreements, and capital commitments managed by KBL Capital GP.
Process
How capital is managed
Operations run on a dedicated LP portal on this site, with segregated GP records:
- Investor commitments and capital calls
- Cash ledger (calls, fees, distributions, deployments)
- Portfolio companies and fair-value tracking
- Keynus and external LP capital treated under the same policies
For founders
Pipeline from the network
KBL alumni and partners may apply for consideration. Investment decisions are independent of membership status and follow due diligence like any other deal.
